Corpus Christi- TLM

In 1885, at the Third Plenary Session of the Council of Baltimore, the Catholic bishops of the United States petitioned Pope Leo XIII to allow for the celebration of Corpus Christi on Sunday instead of the traditional Thursday. An indult was granted by the Holy Father on 31 December of the same year.
